TRURO – Colleen Pinkney claimed a second senior women’s provincial curling title in four years this morning at Digby Curling Club.
Pinkney defeated Glooscap’s Jocelyn Nix 8-5 in the final to finish the event with a 5-2 record.

The victory earns Pinkney a berth in the Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship March 16 to 24 at the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside, P.E.I., the site of Pinkney’s 2009 Canadian title which led to a world championship the next year in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
