It will be the Battle of the Brads at 8 pm tonight in the Capital One Road to the Roar Pre-Trials, with the winner of the match, between the Brad Gushue rink, which includes PEI natives Brett Gallant and Adam Casey, and defending Canadian Men’s champion Brad Jacobs, advancing to the Roar of the Rings Olympic Trials in Winnipeg.
Gushue was facing two with his last shot in this morning’s game against Steve Laycock of Saskatoon, and put it on the tee for a 5-3 win, to advance to the second and final men’s Trials qualifier game.
