Newson 0-2 after draw six at Atlantic Curling Tour ch’ship

The Atlantic Curling Tour Championship wraps up today at the Dartmouth Curling Club, with 12 teams, including Charlottetown’s Jamie Newson rink, competing. Newson was 0-2 at the end of the 5 pm Saturday draw, following losses to Doug MacKenzie Friday night, and Mark Dacey Saturday morning.

Draw 1 (Fri 6:30pm) – Stevens over Buott, Murphy over Steele, Sullivan over Saccary, Fitzner over Smith

Draw 2 (Fri 9:30pm) MacKenzie over Newson, Dacey over MacDougall

Draw 3 (Sat 8am) Saccary over Smith, Fitzner over Sullivan, Stevens over Steele, Murphy over Buott

Draw 4 (11:00am) Mackenzie over MacDougall, Dacey over Newson

Draw 5 (Sat 2pm) Murphy over Buott, Stevens over Murphy, Sullivan over Smith, Fitzner over Saccary

Draw 6 (Sat 5pm) Fitzner over Dacey, Sullivan over Murphy
