From the race tracks to the curling rinks, from the halls of Westisle to the soccer fields of West Prince, from his loving family to his adoring friends, Kevin Gallant of Bloomfield will be sorely missed.

Bloomfield resident Kevin Gallant passed away from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident on the Confederation Trail, Wednesday, Dec 18. He is remembered by friends and family for his warm smile, his humble personality, and his love of sports, namely curling and stock car racing. Submitted photo

“It just feels too hard to believe,” said Nathan Ellis, a close friend of Kevin’s since the sixth grade. Mr Ellis heard of the snowmobile accident that claimed Kevin’s life shortly after it happened, Wednesday, Dec 18, on the Confederation Trail in Coleman. Kevin’s vehicle went off the trail and collided with a tree in the late morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene. “It’s just heart breaking because he was such a great friend to all of us. We will never forget him.”
