MIXED DOUBLES CASHSPIEL

Practice for the Provincials, or just learn about this new type of curling.

Saturday February 1, 2014

$40 per two-person team

$20 per team prize for each game won.

Each team plays three games.

Games will be six ends each, in order to give curlers the chance to play three games.
(The provincial championships are eight end games)

ALL ARE WELCOME! LIMIT 16 TEAMS.

Open to all ages.
No stick curlers (not allowed in provincials, and they have their own 2-person ch’ship)
Mixed teams only

Some info on Mixed Doubles Curling:

Teams are made up of two players; one male, one female.

Six rocks used per team per end (one placed, five thrown)

One rock per team is placed at the beginning of each end.

One player throws first and last stone per end, other player throws the three in between.
