Donna Hatt, vice chair of the champion festival, speaks at a pep rally at Queens Place Emera Centre on Jan. 9. The M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships begins this Saturday in Liverpool.

A look at the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Curling Website paints a picture of what the Teams, families, spectators and locals can expect. The Draw Schedule shows 3 draws daily played on 8 sheets shared between the Liverpool Curling Club and at the converted event centre, Queens Place Emera Centre.

Joined by a team of 150 volunteers, the Host Committee says it has been overwhelmed by the Community’s eagerness to get involved and the events they’ve added through the Championship Festival.
