Annual Mardi Gras Funspiel starts Feb. 20 at the Fox

The annual Provincial Auto Parts/Summerside Rotary Mardi Gras Funspiel takes place Feb. 20 to 22 at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside. $160/team entry fee guarantees three six end games, with a point system being used, along with steamed mussels “and things” on Friday night, prize for best dressed team, lounge entertainment Friday and Saturday nights, and a hip of beef buffet on Saturday night. Entry also includes four Cover the Button tickets (see below), and four tickets to Summerside’s Highland Gathering.
There is also a $6 Rotary pancake breakfast 8-11 am on Saturday, and a Cover the Button for $50,000 contest. Tickets are $5 each (4 are included in your team entry). Contestants will be randomly selected from among the ticket buyers, and are subject to the event rules.
