This semester, there will be one more Panthers team competing for an AUS title.
Over the Christmas break, Atlantic University Sport announced that it would be adding men’s and women’s curling to its list of sports offered.
This has been in the works since the summer, with three schools needing to declare to make it happen.
UPEI, UNB, St. FX and Memorial University all declared and will compete for this year’s curling championship.
The Panthers will play host to the 2015 Subway AUS men’s and women’s curling championships, which will take place at the Montague Curling Club Feb. 13 to 15.
