Crystal Webster mixes up strategy in hunt for elusive Alberta Scotties title. PEI native Geri-Lynn Ramsay is 2nd stone (Calgary Herald)

Crystal Webster wants to win a provincial curling title and she’s willing to give up last shot to do it.

A perennial contender at the Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the 39-year-old Glencoe Club skip shook things up at the start of the season by adding Edmonton’s Jessie Kaufman at third but having Kaufman throw last.

Local skip Crystal Webster has switched things up this season, now throwing third rocks, as she tries to get over the hump and win an Alberta Scotties title.Gavin Young / Calgary Herald 

The 2015 Scotties gets underway Wednesday morning at the Lacombe Arena. Webster, Kaufman, second Geri-Lynn Ramsay and new lead Rebecca Konshuh face Karynn Flory of Edmonton in their first game. The final is Sunday night.
