The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling series is pleased to announce Truro as the host for the 2015 Masters, running Oct. 27 to Nov. 1 at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.
The Masters will be the second stop on the expanded seven-event 2015-16 Grand Slam schedule.
Featuring 15 of the top men’s teams and 15 of the top women’s teams in the world, the Masters is an elite-level competition with cash prizes and valuable tour points on the line. Brad Gushue, from St. John’s, N.L., and Edmonton’s Val Sweeting were crowned Masters champions earlier this season in Selkirk, Manitoba.
