B.C. (1-3) gets first win, vs. P.E.I. (2-2), at the Scotties (Journal)

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – It was not a good start to Monday for the Suzanne Birt rink.

Skip Suzanne Birt calls a shot during the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts provincial women’s curling championship in Summerside last month.

Birt, third stone Shelly Bradley, second stone Michelle McQuaid and lead Susan McInnis lost 7-4 to British Columbia’s Patti Knezevic in morning action at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

P.E.I. plays Alberta’s Val Sweeting (3-0) team on Monday at 9 p.m., Atlantic time.
