Birt, third stone Robyn Green, second stone Meaghan Hughes and lead Marie Christianson trimmed Jocelyn Nix of Kentville, N.S., 9-3 in the first of three games on Saturday for the Charlottetown Curling Complex foursome.Team Birt is back on the ice taking on Colleen Pinkney of Truro, N.S., in a late-afternoon start, and will then take on clubmate Shelly Bradley at 8 p.m.Bradley lost 8-5 to Jill Brothers of Halifax, N.S., on Saturday afternoon to fall to 1-3.
