It was a great day for the PEI women’s team, skipped by Lisa Jackson of the Cornwall Curling Club, picking up two wins at the Travelers Curling Club Championship in Ottawa, to improve to a 3-0 win-loss record, tied with Ontario in their pool. The PEI men, captained by Freddy Fraser, out of the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton, lost their only Tuesday game, and are at 1-1.
