After two 8-2 victories by the duo of Charlottetown defending champion Kyle Holland, and Sabrina Smith, it was looking like the third Saturday game might be the last one in the Best of 5 Curl PEI Mixed Doubles championship at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside, but that was not to be the case. The rink of Steven Thomson and Lyndsey Moore from Crapaud came on strong in game three, winning with a 9-1 score, stealing the first end, taking a triple in the third, and stealing the next four ends.
Game four between the two teams goes on Sunday at 10 am, with a fifth game, if needed, going at 1 pm. The winning team will move on to represent PEI at the National Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, March 31-April 3, 2016 in Saskatoon Sask.
