Atlantic Podium Project/Next Generation Coaching Clinic with Earle Morris

Who can register? Anyone who is currently coaching or looking to coach a
competitive U15, U18 or U21 curling team

Curl Atlantic and Curling Canada are pleased to present an opportunity for all U15, U18 and
U21 coaches to spend a weekend learning coaching tips from Earle Morris. Earle is a certified
Level 3 curling coach and brings a wealth of experience coaching juniors as well as coaching
Canada at both the Men’s and Women’s World Championships.

The cost of the clinic includes all off ice and on ice sessions with Earle, a workbook with
practical resources you can use with your team and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday.

3 Professional Development Points will be given to any coach who is certified with the NCCP
Competition Coach or Competition Development course. Please note, you do not need to be a
certified coach to attend, but it would be helpful if you are at least trained in Comp Coach or
Comp Dev.

Agenda topics will include:
Saturday (1pm – 9pm) – Introduction including lessons Earle has learned along the way,
High Performance overview, Leadership, Season Planning, Team Management, How to
Practice, Delivery/Brushing analysis and correction including video analysis, Effective Team
Communication. Saturday morning will be off ice and the afternoon will be a combination of
on ice and off ice so please bring your curling gear.

Sunday (9am – 2pm)- Strategy and Tactics, Mental Toughness, Team Dynamics, Successful
Interventions. All sessions on Sunday will be off ice.

Full payment ($50) must be received no later than August 31st. Payment can be made by e-transfer to curlatlantic2001@gmail.com or a cheque can be made out to Curl Atlantic and mailed to:
