Upcoming Learn to Curl sessions, other club news

Curling is getting underway at several PEI curling facilities. The Cornwall Curling Club and the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Community Complex have scheduled FREE Learn to Curl sessions.

Cornwall Curling Club

 Open House, free Adult Curling School, and new members registration

6:30 to 8:30 each evening.  Come any one, two, or all three nights – there will be instruction at varying levels each night. New members can register any of these nights. Juniors receive training as part of their regular program.

Silver Fox:

Thursday November 3rd 3-5pm (8 years +)
Friday November 4th 3-5pm (8 years +)
Friday November 4th 7-9pm (adults)
Everyone Welcome
No Experience Necessary
Instruction Provided

Dress in warm clothes with loose or stretchy pants and bring clean indoor shoes. Loaner sliders and brushes will be provided.

Other updates:

The Crapaud Community Curling Club are having Early Registration and Annual Meeting on October 20th. Early Registration begins at 6:30pm and meeting starts at 7:30pm.  They are also having their annual HALLOWEEN CAR RALLY on October 29th starting at 11:30am at the club. It’s $100 per team or $20 per person come out and have a laugh and a bunch of fun to enter a team please call Jonathan @902-439-7285.

Montague are reporting a bit of a delay in the installation of their ice because of a new roof. Plans are to begin ice making on the 15th of October.
They are looking for help to clean out the ice shed and storage building to get ready for ice installation. There will be a BBQ after at noon for those who help. Date has not yet been determined.
