Since 2003, well over a hundred curling clubs from every province and the territories have donated or raised funds in support of the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. Monies raised have funded the purchase of life-saving equipment for NICUs in 45 different hospitals across Canada. Thank you for helping save the lives of babies born premature and critically ill.
On February 19th, the fifteenth annual Telethon will be broadcast live on TSN from the Scotties in St. Catharines. If you have a donation, we encourage you to call 1-866-210-6011 and challenge other clubs to meet or beat your donation.
Many clubs hold fundraisers for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation at this time of year. Please ensure that your donation is sent to them by April 30th so that you will be entered into the 2017 Curling Club Challenge. The top 3 clubs that raise the most will receive two week-long passes to a Season of Champions curling event. They will also receive an original painting by the talented, young Canadian artist, Jason Robins.
