TISDALE, Sask. – The Adam Casey-skipped rink got right back on the winning track in Friday night’s late draw at the Saskatchewan Tankard provincial men’s curling championship.
After suffering his first loss of the event – a 6-5 extra-end decision – to defending-champion Steve Laycock on Friday afternoon, Casey, third stone Catlin Schneider, second stone Shaun Meachem and lead Dustin Kidby bounced back to outscore Jason Jacobsen 8-5.
Casey will face Kody Hartung in a battle of 4-1 (won-lost) rinks on Saturday. The loss dropped Jacobsen’s record to 3-2.
