ST. CATHARINES, ONT. – The Robyn MacPhee rink from the Charlottetown Curling Complex suffered its second heart-breaking loss in less than 24 hours on Monday afternoon.
After coming up on the short end of an 8-7 decision to Team Canada’s Chelsea Carey at the 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Sunday night, Eve Bélisle drew to the four-foot on her final shot to edge the P.E.I. representative by another 8-7 score on Monday afternoon. It was P.E.I.’s only game of the day.
Team MacPhee’s record is 0-4 (won-lost) at the Canadian women’s curling championship.
On Tuesday they play Nova Scotia’s Mary Mattatall and British Columbia’s Marla Mallett.
