Opening Draw teams set for 5th annual Mixed Doubles Cashspiel at Cornwall

The new Olympic sport of mixed doubles curling is growing in popularity across the curling world, especially with its inclusion for the 2018 Winter Games in Korea. Here is the opening draw teams schedule for the 5th Annual Mixed Doubles Cashspiel, on Saturday November 25 at the Cornwall Curling Club. A full draw of 16 teams are entered in this year’s event, which has attracted curlers from Cornwall and Charlottetown.

The major difference between regular curling and mixed doubles curling (besides 2 vs. 4 players per team) is the positioning of two stones – one per team – that are set before the beginning of each end.
