PEI’s Robyn MacPhee and Veronica Smith rinks both made Sunday’s playoffs in the 10 team women’s division of the WFG Jim Sullivan Classic in Saint John. No PEI teams are entered in the 18 rink men’s section. MacPhee finished round robin play with a 3-1 win-loss record in her pool and goes directly to the 12 noon semi-finals, while Smith, who has a 2-2 record, will play Shelly Graham of Moncton in the 8:30 am quarter-finals, with the winner taking on Jennifer Armstrong of Fredericton in the other noontime semi. Sylvie Robichaud plays Sarah Mallais in the other quarter, with the winner facing MacPhee. The final is at 3 pm.
