The PEI Sports Hall of Fame welcomed four new members this evening at its annual induction ceremony, held at Credit Union Place in Summerside, and sponsored by PEI Mutual Insurance Company.
Curlers Kathy O’Rourke and her brother Peter MacDonald were inducted, along with builder of the sport of fencing Lothar Zimmerman, and hockey, baseball and harness racing athlete, coach and official Gerard (Smitty) Smith.
