Talking ‘ice’ with a top ice-maker and world champion curler!

Souris PEI native Ian MacAulay, a well-known Ottawa-area ice-technician and curler, paid a visit to the Cornwall Curling Club, where he had a chance to throw a few rocks, and talk “ice” with Cornwall’s new icemaker, Brent Irving.

MacAulay, playing on the Bryan Cochrane team, is a former Ontario Provincial Men’s Curling Champ, two-time Canadian Senior Men’s Curling Champion, former World Senior Men’s Silver-Medallist and reigning World Senior Men’s Champion.

MacAulay has been the head ice technician at the Rideau Curling ClubOttawa Curling Club and currently at the RCMP Curling Club.
