Jamie Newson-skipped Silver Fox team loses close opener to NB at the Canadian Mixed

The Jamie Newson team from the Silver Fox Curling Club in Summerside are PEI’s representatives in the 2020 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, Nov. 3-9, 2019, at Foyer des loisirs et de la culture in Saguenay, Que. They lost their opener 9-7 to Moncton New Brunswick’s Grant Odishaw rink this afternoon, with a 5 point 5th end for New Brunswick, who also won their opener, against Northern Ontario, skipped by Sandy MacEwan, being the determining factor.
