Following Friday and Saturday action, only two draws, at 10:30 am and 2 pm Sunday, remain to be played at the 7-team round robin PEI Under 13 Open (teams may be any combination of boys and/or girls) Curling Championship at the Montague Curling Rink. Games are six ends.
Ella Lenentine delivers a rock
The Ella Lenentine rink from the Cornwall Curling Club s atop the round-robin standings with a perfect 4-0 win-loss record, followed by the Madalyn Easter squad from the Silver Fox in Summerside and the Reid Hart foursome from the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary, both at 3-1, while the Nate Young rink from the Fox is 2-2 and the Jonas McLellan team from Cornwall is 2-3. Rounding out the field are the Landon MacWilliams team from the Maple Leaf at 1-4, and the Hannah Hogan squad from Montague at 0-4.
Following the round-robin, final positions in the event will be determined first by win/loss, then head to head between tied teams, then cumulative Last Stone Delivery (draw to the button) and finally by points (5 Points per win, 1 point per end and 1 point for difference of score to a max of 3).
