Leo Stewart in March at the PEI Curling Club Championships

‘Our curling community and the Silver Fox Complex are reeling from the news that we lost our beloved friend and ice maker, Leo Stewart, early this morning.
There are no words for what we are feeling right now.
Leo had a presence and a personality like no one else and will be missed very much. He had his opinions, which he didn’t mind voicing but was always a sincere advocate for the club and Curling.
He was a charmer, and loved to offer a “private tour” of his ice-making office, always with a wink and a smirk.

Lots of love and good thoughts go out to his beautiful wife Mary, and his family and dear friends.
I wish we could celebrate your life in the way that you deserve, but know that this is a loss that cannot be filled’
