 Join Silly Robbie for a high energy celebration featuring:
– The Music Man – Michael Pendergast;
– a guided science experiment with Mad Science of the Maritimes;
– craft time with local artist and art educator Jessica Sheppard;
– a baking segment with Chef Ilona Daniel;
– story time with Mayor Brown and mascot Charlie Town.

This family friendly show will air at 11 a.m. (ADT) on the City’s website, on Facebook, or YouTube

Join host Patrick Ledwell for a dynamic, online production jam-packed with local performers, chefs, and specials guests!

Tune in for special musical performances by Paper Lions, Irish Mythen, KINLEY, Vince the Messenger, Tiffany Liu, and the Mi’kmaq Heritage Actors.

Culinary segments led by Chef Ilona Daniel, featuring Chef Cordell Wells, and culinary students Sasha Burkitt and Caleb Gallant. Together, they will make some of their Island favourites including Acadian and Mi’kmaq dishes using local ingredients. 

#ohcharlottetown, produced in conjunction with Furrow Studio and award-winning producer and music director Colin Buchanan, will air at 7:30 p.m. (ADT) on the City’s website, on Facebook, or YouTube.

Demonstrate your national pride by donning red or white and submitting a picture for a special flag mosaic, which will be shared across the City’s platforms on Canada Day. To participate, email a photo to [email protected] The deadline to submit was Sunday, June 28 at 11:59 p.m.

Capital City Canada Day Home Decorating Contest
Thank you to everyone who registered for the Home Decorating Contest – registration is now closed.
Enter for a chance to win awesome prize packages from local businesses.
All entries will be judged in the Best Overall category and will also have the option to be considered in the Kid’s Choice and Eco-Friendly categories. Entries in the Eco-Friendly category must use sustainable materials and decorations that incorporate renewable energy as much as possible, while not using any single-use plastics.Registration closed on Friday, June 26 at 4 p.m. Entries are being judged on June 29 and 30. Winners will be contacted June 30 and prizes will be delivered on July 1.
