What does this coach do that makes him/her a great coach?
He just makes us feel good when he gets to practice we do hard work but we have fun at the same time and that is from being a good coach it’s all about a balance he knows that balance very well.

What lesson(s) has this coach instilled in you/athletes/or others?
Coach Dave has instilled in our brain that its all about fun he has taught us that if there is no fun you are just wasting your time playing this sport he has also instilled in us that if everyone made their shots the game would be boring, it’s OK to miss it’s how you rebound after that.

Write a memory/story about this coach.
One of the memories that stick out in the teams mind is in the final game of the U18 Provincials and how good coach Dave is at getting us back into the zone and focused again he was key in getting us back in the game and that memory will always be one of our favourites.

Nominator: Jack MacFadyen
