PEI’s Brett Gallant and his fiance and mixed doubles partner Jocelyn Peterman had to settle for second place in the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic in Banff this weekend, as Rachel Homan and John Morris came from behind to beat them 6-5 in the final of the 36 team, $30,000 event.

Peterman/Gallant had a 4-3 lead after 4 ends, but Homan/Morris took singles in the next three ends to pull ahead 6-4, and kept Peterman/Gallant to a single in the final end for the victory.
