NEW this year, they are proud to be expanding the event with the addition of the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic Women’s event presented by NeonTrain from November 11-14th, 2021.
PEI’s Team Birt, along with Nova Scotia’s Team Stevens, which includes Islander Lauren Ferguson, are in the women’s event, and faced each other in their Thursday morning opening draw, with Stevens winning 5-2. Birt won their 2nd game 8-0 over Jessica Daigle and her Halifax team, stealing 4 in the 2nd end, while Stevens lost theirs, 5-4 to Rebecca Morrison of Great Britain. Birt plays Morrison today (watch on live stream), while Stevens takes on Daigle.
