Lenentine, who plays the lead position and is from New Haven, curled 75 per cent in Manitoba’s 12-2 win over the Yukon’s Hailey Birnie (0-2) in the late draw on Jan. 30.

Two games

It’s a two-game day on Jan. 31 for P.E.I.’s Suzanne Birt rink, which curls out of Cornwall and Montague. Birt looks to get back on track after two straight losses with games against New Brunswick’s Andrea Crawford (3-0) at 10 a.m., and Emma Miskew’s wild-card team (2-1) at 8 p.m.

Team P.E.I., which curled a combined 65 per cent, lost 9-1 to Tracy Fleury’s wild-card team (2-1) on Jan. 30.

The Fleury rink scored points in the first five ends en route to building an 8-0 lead at the fifth-end break.

With Fleury in COVID-19 protocol, Selena Njegovan handled the skipping duties.
