There will be three teams competing in the PEI Canada Games Mixed Doubles Trial playoff round on Sunday at the Montague Curling Club.

The five teams in the event played a round robin format with the Rachel MacLean/Chase MacMillan team from Cornwall finishing with a perfect 4-0 win-loss record, and will advance to the second playoff game at 12:45pm Sunday, while the Ella Lenentine/Mitchell Schut rink and the Sydney Howatt/Liam Kelly rink, who both finished at 2-2 win-loss will square off in the first playoff game at 9:30am, with the winner advancing to the second playoff game.  If the MacLean/MacMillan team, who went undefeated in the round robin loses the 12:45pm contest, there will be a third playoff game at 4pm between MacLean/MacMillan and the winner of the 12:45pm match.

The winning team from the Trial earn the right to advance to the 2023 Canada Games in February.
