Playoffs set at PEI Mixed Doubles Curling Championships

There will be three teams competing in the 2023 PEI Mixed Doubles Curling Championships on Sunday afternoon at the Montague Curling Club.

Play started Thursday with 13 teams competing in the modified triple knockout with a two game playoff.  The husband and wife duo from the Summerside Curling Club, Edward and Jenny White who played in two of the three Qualifier games has earned the bye to the 5pm final.  The A and C Qualifier winners, Lauren and Alex MacFadyen, siblings from the Summerside Curling Club and the husband and wife team of Philip and Robyn MacDonald from the Montague Curling Club will face each other at 1:30pm, with the winner advancing to the 5pm final against the White team.

The winning team earns the right to represent PEI at the 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship March 21-26, 2023 in Sudbury, ON.
