SALMON ARM, B.C. – Prince Edward Island’s Brett Gallant rink defeated Northern Ontario 7-6 Sunday night to capture the Canadian men’s junior curling championship.
Gallant’s opposing skip, Dylan Johnston, and his team jumped out to a 3-0 first end lead but the Gallant rink battled back to tie the game and entered the deciding 10th end down by one point.
