The Theresa Breen rink from Halifax, and the Sandy Comeau team from New Brunswick are also undefeated with two win and no losses. PEI’s Donna Butler rink is 1-2, while Meaghan Hughes is 1-2.

Casey went 0-2 for the day. In the late draw, Birt came from behind with a triple in the final end to edge New Brunswick’s Mary Jane McGuire foursome 8-7. Birt plays Charlottetown clubmate Kim Dolan at 11:15 this morning, and Marie Christianson of NS at 4:45 this afternoon.

Dolan, who is playing with Rebecca Jean MacDonald, Sinead Dolan, and Nancy Cameron with alternate Michala Robison, doubled Casey 8-4 in her opening game, beat McGuire 7-4 in the afternoon, and downed Adams 10-3 in the nightcap, shutting the game down early with a triple, a deuce, and another three-pointer in ends four through six.
