The Players Championship curling tournament gave Summerside, P.E.I. an early jump on the tourism season this weekend.

The tournament filled hotels and crowded bars and restaurants, said Tourism Summerside president Duke Cormier.
“It’s great for business to have a multi-day event,” said Cormier
