Team PEI Women, skipped by Kaleigh Mackay, picked up their first win at the Canada Games last night, beating the Yukon 9-3 in eight ends. PEI got out of the gate fast with a deuce in the first end, a steal of one in the second, and a pair of deuces in four and five to lead 7-1 at the 5th end break.
