Unless a  tiebreaker is needed, only one draw remains at the Dominion Legion Curling Championships at the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton. With one round robin game remaining, PEI’s Mel Bernard rink will need to win their final game at 9 am Wednesday against 1st place Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario, and the other 1st place team, Nova Scotia/Nunavut, will have to lose against Saskatchewan in order for PEI to move into a tiebreaker situation. If a tiebreaker is needed, it would go at 2 pm. A win by either Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario or Nova Scotia/Nunavut would give them the championship.

The Bernard rink won 7-3 this afternoon over BC/Yukon (1-4), while Sask. downed Quebec 11-1, and NS/Nunavut beat Nfld. and Labrador 9-4.
