Katie Sharkey of Charlottetown defeated defending champion Sarah Fullerton of the Cornwall Curling Club 9-5 in the junior women's final. Sharkey got off to a quick start, stoling a deuce in the first end and a single in the second. Fullerton stole the next two ends, but Sharkey responded with a triple in the 5th for a 6-2 lead. Fullerton fought back with a triple in the sixth, but Sharkey came back with three of her own in the seventh for the win.
Other members of the winning Sharkey rink, who won the B and C divisions in the triple knockout competition are Alexis Wright, Christina Keen, and Chelsey Stordy, with coach Pam Wright.

The Fullerton rink will also be participating in the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse in late February.
