Twenty men’s teams, and 10 women’s rinks are taking part in the 6th annual Propeller Brewing Company Cashspiel, Oct. 8-11 at the CFB Halifax Curling Club. PEI is represented at the event by the Eddie MacKenzie and Robert Campbell rinks. First draw is Friday at 4 pm, with the finals Monday at 3. $1600 and $1300 go to the men’s and women’s winners, respectively. Games are 8 ends.
Defending champions are the Jamie Murphy rink of Halifax. PEI’s MacKenzie team made it to the quarter-final round last year.
