Crystal Webster rink, with PEI natives Carmody and Ramsay, kicks off season on Thursday

Calgary’s Crystal Webster rink, which includes PEI natives Erin Carmody at third, and Geri-Lynn Ramsay at second, begin their competitive curling season tomorrow, with the 32 team, $26,000 total purse “The Shoot Out” in Edmonton. Prizes are: 1st – $5,000 2nd – $3,000 3rd and 4th – $2,000 and 5th through 8th – $1,500.

They open against the Brett Barber rink from Regina at 4:30 pm Atlantic time. The finals are Sunday at 6 pm.
