Startup update: Ch’town and Montague holding Free curling open houses

The Charlottetown Curling Complex is holding three free Learn to Curl sessions, starting tonight (Thursday) at 6pm, plus this Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm. The Montague Curling Rink is holding “Try Curling” sessions Nov. 2nd through Nov. 4th beginning at 6:30 each evening.  All you need to bring are clean shoes.  The club has a Getting Started in Curling league on Mondays at 6:30pm, and Fun Team Curling at 8:30 with single entry signup and different teams each night. They have Fun Mixed Tuesday at 6:30, and Competitive (no business leagues) at 8:30. Wednesday is Twoonie Night! @ 6:30pm & 8:30pm – this is also a single entry sign up.  Each member pays $2 and the winning team (on points system) wins a prize. Thursday has  Daytime League @ 10am – Open to anyone, Stick Curling at 1 pm, a Competitive Draw at 6:30pm, and a Business Draw at 8:30. Friday evening fun nights with various themes are planned.
