Mixed Doubles, Seniors ch’ship entries close Friday. Mixed (four person) deadline is Jan. 26

Curlers are reminded of the following championship deadlines for the rest of the month.

 

Mixed Doubles

Entry deadline is this Friday, January 19 for the Olympic sport of Mixed Doubles, for 2-person teams of one male and one female, taking place at the Charlottetown Curling Complex Feb. 9-11. This event has no age restrictions. The winning team advances to the 2018 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship from March 29 to April 1 in Leduc Alberta. 

Seniors

The PEI Seniors Curling Championships, with men’s and women’s divisions for curlers age 50 and over, takes place at the Crapaud Community Curling Club from February 9 to 13. Entry deadline is this Friday, January 19, and entry fee is $190 per team, plus a $42 per player Curling Canada participant fee. Winners advance to the 2018 Everest Canadian Senior Men’s and Women’s Curling Championship,  March 24 to 29 at the Stratford Rotary Complex, a facility that features two ice surfaces — RBC Arena and Molson Arena.

Mixed

The Provincial 4 person Mixed Curling Championships take place February 16-20 at the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton. Entry deadline is next Friday, January 26, and entry fee is $190 per team, plus a $42 per player Curling Canada participant fee. Winners advance to the Canadian Mixed Curling Championships, November 5-10 2018 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg.
