PEI’s Suzanne Birt rink are in Brantford Ontario this weekend, competing in the Sun Life Financial Invitational Curling Classic, billed as “the premier cash spiel in Ontario”.  Thirty two men’s teams and thirty women’s rinks, including many of the top teams from around the world, are competing for $97,000 in cash prizes.  Glenn Howard and Cheryl Bernard are among of the headliners. The finals are on Monday.

Birt split her two Friday games, and is currently on the ice playing Alison Goring.
