Canada’s Brett Gallant rink recorded an 8-6 victory over China’s Jia Liang Zang team last night to advance their win-loss record to 7-1 at the World Junior Curling Championships in Vancouver. The Gallant team has today off, and wrap up round-robin play on Thursday morning with a game against the USA.
On the women’s side, Canada’s Kaitlyn Lawes has a 5-2 record, tied with Russia, and behind Switzerland at 6-1 and Scotland at 6-2. They beat Japan 13-4 last night, and play 1st place Switzerland at 9 this morning (1 pm Atlantic).
