It has to be frustrating for the P.E.I. entry at this year’s Brier.
In pursuit of P.E.I. first-ever taste of the Canadian men’s curling championship, the Rod MacDonald rink got started to a 2-1 start and was among the top rinks after two days of play.
Then there was the letdown against Joel Jordison of Saskatchewan and later a four-game losing streak, culiminating with an 8-2 six-end drubbing Wednesday morning at the hands of Olympic gold-medallist Brad Gushue of Newfoundland and Labrador (7-2).
