SUMMERSIDE — It took until the fourth end for Colleen Pinkney and her Truro Curling Club rink to hit the scoreboard, but once they did they took control.
The Nova Scotia women defeated the Lois Fowler rink from Manitoba 7-3 in a battle for first place in the round-robin standings at the 2009 Canadian Senior women’s curling championships at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club.
