Two of the three PEI rinks in the Best Western – TSA Curling Classic, which wraps up today in Saint John, have advanced to the quarter-final round, and will face off against each other at 9 this morning. The Robert Campbell rink, which includes Steve Burgess, Jamie Newson, and Rob Doherty, along with their Charlottown clubmates John Likely, Phil Gorveatt, Mark Butler, and Mike Dillon, both finished round robin play with 4-1 win-loss records, and have advanced to quarter-final number one. The winners of these two 9 am games will advance to noon semi-final games against undefeated Marc LeCocq of NB, and Chad Stevens of NS (4-1) respectively. The final goes at 3 pm.
