Play gets underway Friday morning at 9 in the Canada Games Curling Trials at the Charlottetown Curling Club. Four junior men’s teams, and an equal number of junior women’s rinks will play double round robin formats to determine PEI’s representatives at the Canada Games in Halifax, February 11-27, 2011, with the curling portion being held at the Mayflower Curling Club.

The top two teams from the round robin competitions will advance to the finals, which will be held Sunday at 2 pm if no tiebreakers are required, or Monday at 1:30 pm if one or more tiebreakers is needed.

The eight qualifiers were determined in the pre-Trials event last month in Summerside. The 2011 Games are open to curlers born between January 1, 1993, and Dec, 31, 1998.
