MONTAGUE – Erin Carmody eliminated five-time winning skip Suzanne Birt from the 2010 provincial Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Monday afternoon.
Carmody prevailed 8-7 in a clash between two Summerside natives, who both curl out of the Charlottetown Curling Club.
